My painting career has continually evolved and changed and I have been a professional artist for most of my life. Although essentially self taught, I studied with Harriet FeBland, a well known artist in New York and exhibited with The FeBland Group throughout Westchester County, N.Y. My paintings were in many galleries in Westchester N.Y. and New York City. They included Summerfield gallery in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., The Art Barn Gallery in Mamaroneck, N.Y. and Sindin Harris Gallery and Gallery Unique in New York . I participated in several exhibitions at Brooklyn College, Brooklyn N.Y. Additionally, I exhibited in many juried shows and won several first prizes. I was a member of Artists Equity in New York before relocating to Florida and Chicago. In addition, I taught art privately for many years and coordinated exhibitions for my students. My paintings are in many private collections throughout the United States and Europe. Since moving to Indiana I have exhibited in juried shows and have had several one woman shows. My art studio is located in La Porte, Indiana where I continue to pursue and remain actively engaged in artistic endeavors.
